Java GCP Cloud Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, resilient solutions using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead cloud migration strategies from on-premise to GCP
• Develop and implement microservices-based architectures
• Define best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to align technical solutions with business goals
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to engineering teams
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency on GCP
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and cloud services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in cloud architecture
• Strong expertise in:
  • Java (Spring Boot, Microservices)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and design patterns
• Experience with containerization and orchestration:
  • Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
