Lead Java Backend/API Developer

📍 Location: Atlanta GA 
🕒 Duration: long term contract 
 

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Expertise in RESTful API design and development
• Strong knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, Multithreading, Collections, Exception Handling
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Hibernate/JPA, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman/REST Assured
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle or Teradata
• Maven/Gradle, Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, uDeploy)
• Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
• Experience with IBM DataPower is preferred

• Docker, Tomcat/WebLogic, AOP, Dependency Injection are a plus
