* Strong Java development skills
* SQL database development skills
* NoSQL database, preferably MongoDB, development skills
* Microservices architecture skills
* Non-blocking system design concepts
* Strong asynchronous programming skills
* Cloud application architecture
* Familiarity with Netty IO architecture
* Working knowledge with Kafka, MQTT protocol, pub/sub architecture
* Working knowledge with Git and Maven
* Design, develop and maintain highly scalable applications
* Strong unit testing and integration testing skills
