Title: Senior Java Curam Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12+ Months

Senior Java and Curam developer to provide business and systems analysis, modeling, design and programming for client application development and maintenance operations using Java, ReactJS and Curam programming technologies. This role will work with the client's Fast Food Nutrition Services (FNS) team to design, develop and maintain the code for some of the enhancements based on the business's backlog of change requests from the business including fixing defects from the backlog. This role will help support the FNS payment error rate reduction efforts, which include evidence automations, Case approvals, Proactive QC alerts etc. This role will also work with other members of the application development team in FNS and other program areas to develop code based on the existing and new requirements. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the NC FAST business team in the FNS area, FNS stakeholders, and the agile team as well for testing FNS code. This role also will collaborate with the release team on source control and code build and release related activities for the FNS area of the code. This role requires strong working experience in Java and the IBM Curam framework to understand, design and an develop the underlying rules for the FNS and SNAP products, supporting batches for FNS payment error rate reduction efforts, interfaces, and other components.

Required Skills

• Experience developing web applications using J2EE, XML and related tools
• Cúram V6/7/8 Certified Developer. V8 preferred
• Social enterprise management experience.
• Experience as a Cúram Developer with experience in the full life cycle of requirements through functional design and testing.
• Experience in development with both the Cúram Enterprise Framework and Cúram Solution Modules.
• Experience in problem identification and integration of technical skills to address and solve issues.
• Experience with translating and communicating highly technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.
• Experience with creating and writing technical documents using MS Office products, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency, independently identify options.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
• Experience using the Cúram Enterprise Framework Components, Cúram Intelligent Evidence Gathering (IEG2), Cúram Express Rules for Triage (CERT).
• Techical knowledge in Eclipse, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Web Services standards (SOAP and WSDL).
• Experience with Oracle database platforms and tools.
• Experience with state government IT Functions.
• Experience using Git, Bitbucket and JIRA
• Experience with the Curam Web Services
• Experience in AWS or any Cloud Development
