Java Cloud Architect

• Architect solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Guide teams in building scalable RESTful services and event-driven systems
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership
• Mentor developers and drive technical excellence across teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise
• 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Strong experience with REST APIs, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with API gateways and service mesh (Istio, Kong)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
