Java Cloud Architect

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable and resilient solutions
• Establish best practices for coding, security, performance, and monitoring
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and cloud services
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews
• Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise
• 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect)
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, IAM)
• Experience with serverless architectures
