Java AWS Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using Java and AWS services
• Define scalable, resilient, and secure microservices-based architecture
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives to AWS
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, and solution blueprints
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams
• Ensure best practices for performance, scalability, security, and cost optimization
• Guide teams on API design, event-driven architecture, and system integration
• Review code, design patterns, and technical implementation standards
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC
• Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
