Location: MacClenny, FL | Cocoa, FL | Naples, FL | Punta Gorda, FL-Onsite
Experience: 12+ Years
Note: This position is available on W2 or Full-Time basis
Note: Federal clearance is mandatory.
Job Description:
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who can handle day-to-day technical issues, support users, and maintain IT systems. This role includes both remote and on-site support at county facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for IT issues (helpdesk support)
* Set up new users, laptops, and configure systems (Autopilot)
* Troubleshoot issues using tools like TeamViewer, VPN, Microsoft 365
* Identify repeated issues and suggest improvements
* Support IT projects and new system setups
* Maintain IT documentation and user guides
* Follow IT service management (ITSM) processes
Key Skills Required:
* Good knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
* Experience with Microsoft tools like Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Defender
* Familiar with Office 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and SSO
* Basic IT certifications (A+, Network+, Microsoft – preferred)
* 3+ years of IT support or system admin experience
* Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (preferred)
Additional Requirements:
* Must be able to travel to nearby county/jail facilities for support
* Comfortable with on-site visits and occasional travel
* Should be open to weekend on-call support (rotation basis)
* Must pass background check
* Follow HIPAA and data privacy rules
