Job Description
- We are seeking a well-rounded IT Support Engineer with strong communication and troubleshooting skills to support multiple business teams and IT partners. This role requires a broad technical background across infrastructure, applications, and databases, with hands-on experience in Windows, Linux, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies. The position will play a key role in supporting an MS Access to SQL Server migration, ongoing application support, and acting as a backup to the Senior Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end IT support across operating systems, applications, and databases
- Support Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage and troubleshoot SQL Server (queries, connectivity, permissions, performance issues)
- Administer Citrix application publishing, access control, and basic troubleshooting (no deep VDI engineering required)
- Support MS Access front-end applications connected to SQL Server back-ends
- Assist in the migration of MS Access databases to SQL Server
- Coordinate with business users and IT teams to resolve technical issues
- Provide ongoing application support for existing systems
- Act as backup to the Senior Engineer when required
- Required Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server (T-SQL queries, troubleshooting, permissions, connectivity)
- Working knowledge of Citrix application management (publishing, access, basic issue resolution)
- Familiarity with MS Access front-end + SQL Server back-end architecture
- Broad IT support experience across infrastructure and applications
- Proven end-to-end troubleshooting skills
