Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Proactively monitor Informatica environments for uptime, performance, and stability
  • Execute scheduled health checks and housekeeping activities
  • Maintain logs and escalate anomalies in a timely manner
  • Oversee daily health checks for failures and performance degradation

 

Incident & Problem Management

  • Respond to incidents within SLA timelines
  • Perform initial triage, resolve L2 issues, and escalate to L3 when required
  • Lead major incident triage calls for critical ETL failures
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

 

Application Support

  • Provide end-to-end support for Informatica jobs across production and non-production environments
  • Troubleshoot failures and ensure platform stability
  • Assist in application upgrades and environment maintenance

 

User & Access Support

  • Assist users with access issues, report failures, and portal navigation
  • Manage user provisioning and security roles

 

Release & Deployment Support

  • Support production releases and deployment processes
  • Assist in migrations between environments
  • Validate post-deployment checks and rollback plans

 

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Coordinate with development teams to resolve technical issues
  • Work with QA teams on data validation failures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth delivery

 

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to security policies and audit requirements
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base for AMS operations

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter (PC) / Informatica Platform support
  • Hands-on experience in application support, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing SLAs and support best practices
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, MS SQL Server, and Azure environments
  • Experience handling incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data validation
  • Ability to work in production support environments (24/7 support models preferred)

 

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Informatica Application Support, preferably in a lead role
  • Strong experience in Informatica platform support and operations
  • Proven ability to handle critical incidents and production environments

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with environment migrations and upgrades
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks
