Informatica Senior MDM Technical Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL (3 Days Onsite – Mandatory)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Informatica Senior MDM Technical Specialist to lead Master Data Management (MDM) implementation and support initiatives. The candidate will design and develop robust MDM solutions to ensure high-quality, governed, and reliable master data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.
• Configure match/merge rules, survivorship rules, and data quality processes.
• Integrate MDM with upstream and downstream systems using Informatica PowerCenter and APIs.
• Work with business stakeholders to define data domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.).
• Implement data governance, hierarchy management, and reference data solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of MDM Hub.
• Support data migration and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Informatica MDM.
• Strong hands-on experience with MDM Hub, IDD, ActiveVOS, and Data Director.
• Experience in data modeling and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
