Job Title: Program Manager / Project Manager (AI & Enterprise Transformation)

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Local Candidates Only)

Mode of work: Work from office (5 days a week)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within enterprise environments. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on AI-driven transformation, data analytics, and strategic program delivery. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the CIO office to drive organizational strategy, governance, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program and project delivery (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
  • Drive AI-enabled transformation initiatives, including automation, analytics, and decision intelligence
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams
  • Align programs with organizational strategy, KPIs, and enterprise goals
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial governance
  • Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations to CIO leadership
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Ensure alignment with core insurance processes (Claims, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Finance)
  • Manage delivery using Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring strong governance and compliance

 Required Qualifications

  • PMP certification required (PgMP or Agile certifications preferred)
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide programs
  • Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance and/or Financial Services
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical (50%) and business (50%) responsibilities
     

Technical Expertise:

  • IT systems and system integration
  • Data platforms and analytics
  • AI/ML initiatives (strategy, implementation, or use cases) 

Business Expertise:

  • Operations, underwriting, claims, and finance processes
  • Stakeholder management and executive engagement
  • KPI definition, tracking, and performance management

 Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to digital transformation or modernization programs
  • Familiarity with enterprise data and analytics tools
  • Experience working with large insurance organizations (e.g., AIG or similar)
  • Strong understanding of SAFe framework and scaled Agile delivery
