Guidewire Lead Developer

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using Guidewire best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Integrate Guidewire applications with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Ensure performance optimization and system scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and Guidewire configuration.
• Experience with Guidewire Data Model, PCF, Workflows, and Integration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of web services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire certifications (Associate/Professional).
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
