Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer to design, develop, and implement insurance applications using the Guidewire suite. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Guidewire modules and a solid background in property & casualty (P&C) insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize applications using Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
• Design and implement business rules, workflows, and integrations
• Work with Guidewire Studio and configuration tools
• Develop integrations using web services (SOAP/REST APIs)
• Perform data mapping, migration, and system enhancements
• Collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to gather requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices
• Document technical designs and configurations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–8+ years of experience in Guidewire development
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Experience with Guidewire Gosu scripting
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Familiarity with integration technologies (REST/SOAP, messaging systems)
• Understanding of P&C insurance domain
