Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Local within 50 miles)
Duration: 780 hrs (till 08/31/26, extendable)

Technical Stack & Responsibilities

We are seeking a GitHub Administrator with strong expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and platform governance to manage and secure GitHub Enterprise environments.

Core Technologies:

Version Control & SCM: Git, GitHub Enterprise (Cloud/Server)
Access & Security: RBAC, SAML, SSO, OAuth, GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning, Dependabot)
CI/CD & Automation: GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, reusable workflows
Cloud Platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure (plus)
Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Compliance & Audit: Audit Logs, Compliance Reporting, Access Reviews, SOX/NIST-aligned practices
DevSecOps Tools: SAST, DAST, Secret Management, Vulnerability Scanning
Infrastructure as Code (Preferred): Terraform, Bicep
Policy as Code (Preferred): OPA, Sentinel
Key Responsibilities

Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise organizations, repos, and access controls
Implement secure SDLC practices with DevSecOps integration
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Enforce branch protection, code review policies, and workflow standards
Integrate GitHub with cloud-native CI/CD and deployment pipelines (AWS)
Manage security scanning (CodeQL, secrets detection, dependency checks)
Maintain audit logs, compliance reporting, and access governance
Automate workflows using Python/Bash/PowerShell scripts
Drive standardization, documentation, and developer enablement
Nice to Have

Infrastructure automation using Terraform/Bicep
Experience with policy-as-code frameworks (OPA/Sentinel)
Ability to create governance frameworks and technical documentation
Experience conducting technical trainings / enablement sessions
