GCP Cloud DevOps

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform to design, build, automate, and manage enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud networking, security, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation in regulated enterprise environments, preferably within the banking or financial services domain.


Required Skills
8+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience deploying and managing GCP resources using Terraform modules.
Strong experience with:
Compute Engine
GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
Cloud Storage
Cloud SQL
BigQuery
Cloud Functions
Pub/Sub
Cloud Run
VPC
IAM
Cloud DNS
Cloud Load Balancing

Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Strong understanding of GCP networking concepts.
Experience implementing IAM roles, service accounts, and security best practices.
Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
Experience with Linux administration.
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as:
Jenkins
GitHub Actions
GitLab CI/CD
Cloud Build
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing monitoring and logging using:
Cloud Monitoring
Cloud Logging
Prometheus
Grafana

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
Build reusable Terraform modules following enterprise standards.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
Develop CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
Configure GCP networking including VPCs, Firewalls, VPNs, Cloud Routers, and Load Balancers.
Implement cloud security controls and IAM policies.
Manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and containerized applications.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Networking, and Application teams.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
Perform infrastructure troubleshooting and production support.
Maintain Terraform state management and version control.
Create technical documentation and deployment runbooks.
Support disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
