Job Title: Full Stack Python / PySpark Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Python / PySpark Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, PySpark, and Azure cloud technologies, along with expertise in building scalable data pipelines and developing APIs. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.

Develop and implement data engineering solutions using Azure cloud services.

Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Azure Databases to support data processing and storage.

Develop APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.

Implement data integration and ETL/ELT processes to support business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data solutions.

Manage and optimize workflows within Azure Databricks.

Follow DevOps best practices using tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

 

Required Qualifications:

5–7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and PySpark.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with Azure cloud platforms.

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Azure Databricks.

Strong SQL skills with experience in relational or NoSQL databases.

Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.

Good understanding of ETL/ELT data processing workflows.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the financial services domain.

Knowledge of financial instruments, asset classes, and market data is a plus.
