Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Preferred) / Westlake, TX

 About the Role
 We are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team at Fidelity Investments. In this role, you will contribute to building next-generation, enterprise-scale applications focused on life events planning solutions.
You’ll be part of a collaborative Scrum team working on modern microservices architecture, API modernization, and event-driven systems.

Develop scalable, high-performance applications using modern technologies
Work on API modernization (SOAP → REST) to improve efficiency
Build and enhance microservices-based platforms
Integrate event-driven systems using Kafka
Collaborate on cloud deployments using AWS, OpenTofu & GitHub
Ensure code quality through unit testing and automation
Translate business requirements into technical solutions

* Required Experience
5–8+ years of Java development
5+ years of JavaScript / Node.js experience
Strong experience with REST APIs (Spring Boot / Node.js)
Hands-on experience with AWS services
Familiarity with Docker, Git, Python, and Shell scripting
Knowledge of DynamoDB / RDS is a plus
