Job Title: Fircosoft Business Analyst / Sanctions Screening SME

Location: Remote
 

Job Summary:

Looking for a Fircosoft SME with strong Sanctions domain expertise to support a major Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade (architectural overhaul). This is a business-focused role (not infrastructure/DevOps) requiring deep understanding of screening logic, filter tuning, and sanctions risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Sanctions Screening SME for Fircosoft (Continuity, Trust, Classic)
• Support Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade (MANDATORY – no exceptions)
• Understand and explain how screening works (inputs, outputs, controls, data flows)
• Perform filter tuning, threshold setting, and alert optimization
• Clearly explain why alerts are triggered and defend filter logic to model validators
• Analyze watchlist screening, bad actor detection, and sanctions matching logic
• Work with business, tech, and QA teams on requirements, UAT, and testing
• Create BRDs, test scripts, process flows, and documentation
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and visualization (SQL, Power BI)
• Support sanctions risk analysis (NOT AML-focused; sanctions-specific)

Required Skills (Must-Have):

• Hands-on Fircosoft Version 6 upgrade experience (strict requirement)
• Strong experience with Fircosoft Continuity, Trust, and Classic
• Deep knowledge of sanctions screening & watchlist filtering
• Experience in filter tuning, screening logic, thresholds, and alert behavior
• Ability to explain and defend alerts to model validators
• Strong understanding of how Fircosoft processes data (inputs/outputs/controls)
• Strong business-side experience (not just IT/backend)
• Hands-on with SQL and data analysis (Power BI or similar)
• Experience with BRDs, UAT, testing, and validation
• Excellent communication skills (client-facing role)
