The New York State Office of Mental Health is seeking an experienced Software Analyst to join a high-impact team working on critical initiatives like NIMRS 2.0, EHR, ALFS Analysis, and ATA Rewrite projects.
📍 Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% remote)
🔍 Role Overview
This role requires a seasoned professional to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving process improvements and ensuring successful delivery across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
💼 Key Responsibilities
Lead collaboration across project managers, ITS teams, and stakeholders
Elicit, analyze, and document complex business & system requirements
Conduct workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews
Develop artifacts: BRDs, use cases, workflow diagrams, mockups, and more
Create “As-Is” and “To-Be” process flows
Manage requirements lifecycle, traceability, and change control
Support Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) compliance
Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation
