Euc Architect
Job Description
An EUC Architect is responsible for designing and managing the systems and tools employees use, such as devices, applications, and virtual desktops, across a large organization. They use technologies like Intune and Azure to ensure everything is secure, efficient, and easy to use. The role includes handling major projects like system upgrades, standardization, and company mergers or transitions. They also focus on providing a smooth and reliable user experience, including support for senior leadership
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Build from Scratch EUC Environments: -
* Design and manage end-user platforms (Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and virtual desktops) using modern tools like Intune, Entra ID, Azure VDI, and MDM.
* Ensure secure and scalable environments through compliance policies, configurations, automation (Autopilot), and standardized processes.
* Lead major transitions like migrations, mergers, and divestitures with smooth integration and minimal user disruption
Operational Excellence & Support
* Deliver high-quality EUC support with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and timely executive/user support.
* Troubleshoot complex issues across devices, operating systems, and access environments.
* Maintain documentation, manage assets, and support migrations, vendor coordination, and security/compliance controls.
Requirements: -
* 12+ years of experience in IT support or EUC engineering.
* Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
* Ability to work independently while following proper documentation and standards.
* Comfortable providing support to executive leadership.
* Proven experience handling large-scale EUC projects, including multi-site implementations and mergers/divestitures.
* Strong technical expertise in Intune, MDM, Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows/macOS, and Azure VDI, along with structured delivery processes
Preferred Skills
* Strong expertise in Microsoft Modern Workplace tools like Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory.
* Experience in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell or Bash.
* Skilled in PC/Mac hardware diagnostics and software troubleshooting.
* Deep knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID), identity governance, and tenant-to-tenant migrations.
* Strong Windows engineering skills (app deployment, Autopilot, updates, monitoring) along with relevant certifications like CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL.
