Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ETL Integration Analyst to support enterprise system integrations, data migration, and interface testing initiatives within a complex technology environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, ETL technologies, APIs, and system integration, along with experience managing testing activities across multiple environments.

This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, development, and business teams to validate data flows, troubleshoot integration issues, manage defects, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise integration projects. Experience with Boomi, utility projects, or Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

System Integration & ETL

• Design, validate, and support file-based and real-time system integrations across enterprise applications.
• Work with ETL technologies, including SSIS and SSRS, to facilitate reliable data movement and reporting.
• Develop and validate data mappings, transformation logic, and end-to-end data flows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise platforms and third-party systems.

Interface Testing & Quality Assurance

• Coordinate and execute testing for 75+ system interfaces between enterprise applications and integration platforms.
• Perform Regression Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), System Acceptance Testing (SAT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate interface functionality, troubleshoot defects, and ensure successful end-to-end data processing.
• Support parallel project environments and manage testing activities across multiple releases.

Environment & Incident Management

• Partner with infrastructure teams to refresh, configure, and maintain testing environments.
• Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
• Recommend preventive actions and process improvements to reduce recurring issues and improve system reliability.
• Manage defects through their lifecycle and coordinate resolutions with cross-functional teams.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, test plans, and process documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning sessions, and cross-functional project discussions.
• Communicate project status, testing outcomes, risks, and issue resolutions effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and business processes as project requirements evolve.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience working with APIs, data integration, and enterprise interface development.
• Proven expertise in data mapping, data flow validation, and system integration testing.
• Experience executing Regression, SIT, SAT, and UAT testing activities.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Sprint Planning, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and managing incident and defect resolution processes.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Boomi integration platform.
• Experience with BizTalk.
• Knowledge of Python scripting.
• Prior experience supporting Utility industry projects.
• Familiarity with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and integrations.
• Experience managing complex enterprise integration environments with multiple concurrent projects.
