ETL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines
• Extract data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud systems)
• Transform data to meet business and technical requirements
• Load data into data warehouses, data lakes, or target systems
• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and workflows
• Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong experience in ETL tools such as:
  • Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, or similar)
• Understanding of data modeling and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
