Electrical Test Engineer

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive manufacturing test plans for wearable EMG devices
• Design and maintain automated test fixtures and manufacturing test equipment
• Assemble, solder, and integrate complex hardware components and subassemblies
• Build and maintain test harnesses and prototypes using industry-standard soldering practices (IPC J-STD-001H preferred)
• Develop Python-based automation frameworks for real-time manufacturing test systems
• Perform statistical analysis (SciPy, NumPy, Pandas) to drive yield improvement and quality control
• Create automated scripts for data collection and validation
• Develop data visualization/reporting tools for manufacturing metrics
• Build interactive applications using JavaScript frameworks for EMG device characterization
• Collaborate with science teams on EMG performance evaluation and study execution
🎓 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering (hardware-focused)
• Strong Python programming skills with statistical analysis expertise
• Experience with automated test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
• Manufacturing test fixture design and hardware/software integration experience
• Hands-on soldering and hardware assembly experience (IPC J-STD-001H certification preferred)
• Proficiency with Git and CI frameworks
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality
