Job Title: DevSecOps Architect

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Job Description:

Candidates with strong enterprise DevSecOps architecture experience, deep AWS cloud expertise, Kubernetes security knowledge, CI/CD automation experience, and a strong background supporting highly regulated environments such as Banking or Financial Services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Architect to lead enterprise DevSecOps transformation initiatives across cloud-native and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CI/CD automation, cloud security, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, compliance automation, and secure software delivery practices.

The architect will work closely with Cloud, Security, Platform Engineering, and Application Development teams to build scalable, secure, and automated DevSecOps frameworks aligned with enterprise governance and compliance standards.

Mandatory Skills:

15+ years of IT experience with strong DevSecOps Architecture background

Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture and Security

Hands-on experience with:

Terraform / OpenTofu, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Docker, Helm, Jenkins, GitHub Actions / GitLab CI/CD

Strong DevOps & Automation experience:

CI/CD pipeline design, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration Management, Release Automation, Environment Provisioning, Automated Testing

Strong Security & Compliance experience:

DevSecOps implementation, Security scanning tools, SAST / DAST, Vulnerability Management, IAM, Secrets Management, Policy-as-Code, Compliance Automation, Audit & Governance controls

Strong Cloud Security expertise:

AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, KMS, WAF, CloudTrail, Defender / Prisma / Wiz / Lacework (preferred)

Strong Kubernetes Security knowledge:

Container Security, Runtime Security, Admission Controllers, RBAC, Network Policies, Service Mesh Security

Strong scripting/programming experience:

Python, Bash, Shell scripting, Groovy

Strong Observability & Monitoring experience:

Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Banking / Financial Services clients

Experience implementing enterprise DevSecOps governance frameworks

Experience with SRE practices (SLI/SLO/Error Budgets)

Experience with AI-driven automation or AI Ops

AWS/Azure/GCP certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Architect enterprise DevSecOps platforms and secure CI/CD pipelines

Implement automated security controls across development and deployment workflows

Design scalable Kubernetes and cloud security architectures

Integrate security scanning, compliance validation, and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines

Lead Infrastructure as Code and automation initiatives

Build observability and monitoring solutions for secure cloud operations

Collaborate with Security, Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams

Drive cloud governance, compliance, and operational best practices

Mentor teams on DevSecOps standards and secure engineering practices
