DevOps / Technical Support Engineer

• DevOps & CI/CD Support: Manage and support the enterprise toolset, including Jenkins, Perforce/Bitbucket, Artifactory, and SonarQube, to streamline deployment pipelines.
• Application & Linux Administration: Perform expert-level application support on Linux OS, including system administration tasks and the setup of complex monitoring environments.
• Observability & Monitoring: Lead the migration of Grafana/Observability platforms and implement SRE best practices to enhance system visibility.
• Middleware Management: Provide dedicated support for Kafka middleware systems, ensuring reliable message streaming and data integrity.
• Trading Application Support: Deliver deployment support for high-stakes trading applications within the Global Markets space, maintaining high availability and rapid issue resolution.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Experience: 6 to 8 years of professional experience in a DevOps or System Administration environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proven mastery in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline management and tool integration.
• Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux System Administration and supporting applications on Linux-based infrastructures.
• Monitoring Setup: Hands-on experience setting up and managing application monitoring and alerting systems.
• Automation: Advanced experience with automation scripting and infrastructure-as-code.
• Networking: Strong foundational knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting in a distributed environment.
• Observability: Advanced skills in observability frameworks and data-driven performance analysis.
