Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DBT Cloud & Azure Databricks Administrator to support and manage enterprise data platforms running on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering DBT Cloud, Azure Databricks, and Azure infrastructure while ensuring platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain DBT Cloud environments, including Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
Configure and manage DBT Cloud projects, jobs, deployments, environments, users, roles, and permissions.
Integrate DBT Cloud with Azure Databricks SQL Warehouses and Databricks compute resources.
Manage Git repositories and version control using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
Schedule, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DBT Cloud jobs and deployment pipelines.
Administer Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, SQL Warehouses, Workflows, Repos, and Jobs.
Configure and manage Unity Catalog, data governance, RBAC, and access controls.
Monitor cluster performance, optimize resource utilization, and troubleshoot production issues.
Configure Azure services including ADLS Gen2, Azure Key Vault, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Terraform.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Analytics teams to support enterprise data transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices.

Required Skills
15+ years of overall IT experience.
Hands-on experience with DBT Cloud Administration.
Azure Databricks Administration experience.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Experience with Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
Hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows, SQL Warehouses, and Cluster Administration.
Strong SQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL skills.
Experience implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git, YAML pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
Knowledge of Azure RBAC, Azure Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
