Datastage Developer

We are looking for a skilled DataStage Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The ideal candidate will work with large datasets, ensure data quality, and support data integration initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL jobs using IBM DataStage
• Extract data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) and load into data warehouses
• Perform data transformations, cleansing, and validation
• Optimize job performance and troubleshoot ETL failures
• Work with databases such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM Db2
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
• Create technical documentation and maintain ETL workflows
• Schedule and monitor jobs using tools like IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
• Proficiency in SQL and database design
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Knowledge of data integration, data migration, and data quality practices
• Familiarity with job sequencing and parallel jobs in DataStage
