Databricks Architect

• Lead data modeling, schema design, and optimization strategies.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Optimize performance and cost for large-scale data workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance.
• Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or analytics architecture.
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with cloud-native data services.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and big data ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
• Knowledge of real-time streaming (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Professional).
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience in data governance and security frameworks.
