Databricks Architect

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of data systems
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Deep understanding of data lake/lakehouse architectures
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer/Architect)
• Experience with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory)
• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Structured Streaming)
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and security tools
• Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD for data pipelines
