Databricks Architect

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of data workloads
• Lead data migration projects from on-prem to cloud
• Establish best practices for data modeling and processing
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience designing data lakes and data warehouses
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
• Experience with streaming tools such as Apache Kafka
