- Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid / Local preferred; Relocation works from EST or CST timezones)
- Duration: Long-Term
- Bill Rate: $60/hr C2C
- Work Authorization: US Citizen / GC / EAD / TN (Strictly No H1B / OPT / CPT)

- Domain Focus: Banking / Financial Services (Experience with CCAR or CECL reporting is a strong plus)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Databricks and Control-M Technical Lead to drive end-to-end data engineering solutions for Client. This role requires a strong technical leader who can design scalable Databricks pipelines, orchestrate complex workflows using Control-M, and effectively lead a team of data engineers while managing senior business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of data engineers, assign daily technical tasks, conduct code reviews, and drive delivery.
- Pipeline Development: Design, optimize, and maintain high-performance, scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark/PySpark.
- Workflow Automation: Build, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise-level data workflows and job dependencies using Control-M.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into clear business insights for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Data Governance & Architecture: Enforce strict data quality standards, architecture best practices, and documentation standards.
- Regulatory & Financial Reporting: Support regulatory data delivery pipelines for critical risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., CCAR, CECL).
Required Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience leading data engineering teams or complex technical projects.
- Databricks Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, Spark SQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Control-M Expertise: Advanced experience in Control-M for complex workflow orchestration, job scheduling, dependency mapping, and error handling.
- Domain Background: Experience working within Banking / Financial Services (knowledge of CCAR, CECL, or Risk reporting is highly desirable).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong client-facing and team-management abilities.
