Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level data models. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems. The role requires strong expertise in data architecture, database design, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable data structures.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
• Optimize database structures to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and data quality standards.
• Support data warehouse, data lake, and analytics platforms.
• Review and improve existing data models and database designs.
• Work with ETL teams to ensure proper data integration and transformation.
• Conduct data model reviews and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in data modeling and database design.
• Strong expertise in relational and dimensional modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake).
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with big data and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
