Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Work with batch and real-time data processing systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams
• Implement data security and compliance best practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures
• Document data architecture and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Knowledge of streaming tools (Apache Kafka, Kinesis)
• Experience with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
