Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong Splunk expertise to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and leveraging Splunk for data ingestion, analysis, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and manage Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports
• Perform data ingestion, parsing, indexing, and normalization in Splunk
• Optimize Splunk queries (SPL) for performance and efficiency
• Integrate Splunk with various data sources (logs, APIs, cloud platforms)
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams for monitoring solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
• Troubleshoot data and performance issues across systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk (SPL, dashboards, administration)
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala
• Experience with log management and monitoring systems
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
