Data Engineer

• Ingest and process data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
• Optimize data processing and query performance
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data workflows
• Implement data security and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with big data tools (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect)
• Experience with real-time/streaming pipelines
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
