Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Implement data governance and security best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance issues
• Work with large datasets using distributed processing frameworks
• Automate data workflows and integrate with CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
• Knowledge of streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink)
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
