Data Engineer

• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers.
• Implement data modeling and schema design best practices.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and cost efficiency.
• Support data integration across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Automate data workflows and scheduling processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse).
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, normalization, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink).
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Knowledge of data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines.
