Data Engineer

• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure reliable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and workflows.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data pipeline development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or other big data tools.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of data modeling and data architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica.
• Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
