Data Engineer

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Finance Analytics.
Location: Remote.
Contract: C2C/W2/1099
Visa: No OPT/CPT

Required Experience: 15+ years

Must have:  FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) domain
 
Technical Skills
This is a critical techno-functional position requiring a strong combination of Data Engineering expertise and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) domain knowledge.
Key Skills Required
* Strong Data Engineering experience:
                • SQL / PL-SQL
                • Snowflake
                • DBT
                • Dimensional Data Modeling
                • ERP data extraction
* Solid FP&A domain expertise, including:
                • Budgeting
                • Forecasting
                • Financial reporting & analytics
·         Comfortable working with data points like General Ledger (GL), Chart of Accounts, P&L, CAPEX/OPEX, and Revenue Recognition
·         Experience pulling data from ERP and EPM systems like SAP, Oracle Hyperion, OneStream, or Anaplan into Snowflake is a massive green flag
·         Experience setting up secure data shares, zero-copy clones for financial auditing, and optimizing complex analytical queries for massive financial datasets.
·         Ability to clearly articulate FP&A concepts.
·         Strong communication skills and professional demeanor (client-facing role)
