Data Engineer

• Optimize data storage, query performance, and pipeline efficiency
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or reliability issues
• Implement security, privacy, and compliance controls for data systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica)
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery)
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Knowledge of real-time/streaming data pipelines
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
