Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead the design and ownership of end‑to‑end data pipelines—from ingestion and transformation to delivery—ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and production‑ready.
✅ Partner closely with analytics, product, and engineering leaders to translate business requirements into robust data models, architectures, and technical roadmaps.
✅ Optimize data workflows for performance, cost, and maintainability, including data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure trust in data across the organization.
✅ Drive best practices in data engineering, automation, and platform governance, mentoring peers and raising the overall technical maturity of the team.
✅ Operate effectively in a 100% remote setup, collaborating across time zones and geographies with strong communication and documentation discipline.

Must‑Have Skills (9+ years):

▪️ Deep expertise in SQL and advanced data modeling for analytics, reporting, and large‑scale datasets.
▪️ Extensive hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) such as data lakes, data warehouses, and orchestration tools.
▪️Strong proficiency in Python (or similar) and data‑engineering frameworks such as Spark/PySpark or equivalent.
▪️Proven track record of designing and operating batch and/or streaming data pipelines in distributed environments.
▪️Experience with Agile/Scrum and leading or playing a key role in remote, cross‑functional teams.
