Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot failures
• Document data architecture and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Hands-on experience with big data tools (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Airflow, Kafka, or dbt
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks
• Experience with real-time streaming data processing
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of data governance and security practices
• Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Data Engineer)
