Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Optimize data queries and processing performance
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows
• Implement security, compliance, and data privacy standards
• Support real-time and batch data processing systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery)
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect)
• Experience with streaming data pipelines
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
