Data Engineer

• Work with data modeling (dimensional and relational models)
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks
• Support real-time and batch data processing systems
• Ensure data security and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related role
• Strong experience in:
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, SSIS, etc.)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema)
• Experience with cloud platforms:
  • AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue)
  • Azure (Synapse, Data Factory)
  • GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data tools:
  • Spark, Hadoop, Databricks
• Knowledge of streaming technologies:
  • Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hub
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with data governance and catalog tools
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP Data Engineer)
