Data Engineer

• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams
• Implement data models to support analytics and reporting
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues
• Optimize queries and storage for performance and cost efficiency
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3–6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend)
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming pipelines
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
