Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
 

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design and build scalable systems that ingest, process, and store large volumes of data for analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL pipelines, Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms, preferably with exposure to Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines

Process and transform large datasets for analytics and reporting

Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across pipelines

Optimize data storage and performance in cloud environments

Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration and delivery

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines
• Experience with cloud data tools such as Azure Data Factory or AWS Glue
• Exposure to Databricks / PySpark is highly preferred

• Understanding of data storage, optimization, and performance tuning

   

Nice to Have:

Experience with real-time or batch data processing

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

Experience working in large-scale data environments
