Data Engineer

• Manage and optimize databases and data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion from APIs, streaming systems, and batch sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.
• Document data architecture, workflows, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data streaming tools (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data governance and security standards.
