Data Engineer

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Optimize data processing and query performance
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams
• Implement data models for analytics and reporting
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues
• Support batch and real-time data processing
• Maintain documentation for data systems and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years (Mid-Level) / 5+ years (Senior) of data engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with programming languages (Python, Scala, or Java)
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Spark)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, or Informatica
• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
