Data Engineer

• Optimize data processing performance and storage efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem).
• Familiarity with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience with modern data tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
• Knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations.
